Some days I don’t really have much to say.. Today is one of those days, but that is a good thing. Doing the same actions day after day is the most reliable way to get somewhere in life.
It really doesn’t matter if it is a fitness goal, a healthy eating habits it, or you are trying to grow a business.
Doing the THINGS THAT MATTER (as long as they take you closer to your goal) are often just the same things repeated over and over that get you there..
If you wanted to walk 500 miles, you would begin by walking a step, then a second step and eventually walk 10,000 steps (which is about 90 minutes of walking by the way), or roughly 5 miles.
Now multiply that by 100 days and you’ve finally hit 500 miles, but in SMALL EASY TO DO STEPS..
it’s the same idea for the design and build of a complex rocket that takes people to the moon..
You start of with a vision.. an idea..
“I want to go to the moon”..
Someone had that idea, that thought, many years ago and set about thinking of ideas that might work.. then had to carry out lots of trials and tests.. ultimately the steps involved to get there were carried out because someone wanted to get someone on the moon.
They had to design the shape of the rocket for efficiency..they had to design engines that could propel people tens of miles upwards and to the moon.. and safely back down again! hey had to design safety systems, oxygen supplies, navigational systems and many many more..
But it all starts with one big idea, which is then broken down into lots of smaller idea, and eventually into small steps that can be done.
Walking to success
So for me, right now, I walk every day. I enjoy it. I know that in time my body will become fitter and stronger.. This winter out of interest, is the first Winter in a long time that I have NOT had a cold.. My family have all been sneezing and coughing.
I get to be out and about, instead of in four walls..
I get to feel optimistic.. I get to feel excited about the future…
Can you remember that feeling as a kid when you would be in wonderment at things in life..? It kind of gets beaten out of you doesn’t it.. by society.. by going to work in something you hate.. by paying the bills each month and having nothing left

This exact feeling of wonderment gets pushed out of our lives.. but maybe.. just maybe we were never meant to lose it.. we were meant to have this excitement for all of our lives… to do good things with.. to grow spiritually and be kind to others.
Thankfully you can get this back… you can have that ‘amazing feeling’ that you had as a kid at new things coming into your life that felt magical..
It happened to me.. and it only took 3 days.
It started by being grateful, and by appreciating the small things in my life.
Have an amazing day!.
