Wanted to just write an update mainly because it’s been a few days.. I wanted to fit you in on how the website, YouTube Channel, and my healthy walking things are all coming along.. sound good?
So, things seem to be growing in all areas of this ‘new chapter of my life’.. and for that I am thankful and grateful. For this I feel happy and good.

Walking update
I am still out walking every day without exception.. Every day 10,000 steps.. This is day 54. I am thankful that I am good enough health to be able to walk. I am thankful that I enjoin it and thankful that I do this every day before the day begins. I am so grateful that this is an area of my life that has changed significantly.
I find the walking to be much the same.. Some days my legs feel very tired, other days not so.. Some days the hills feel much easier, some days not.. I mean it has only been a couple of months.
It feels amazing to be outdoors, in nature and APPRECIATING the small things in life (it really does!).. Just look at this pic from yesterday mornings walk..

Weight loss update
Much the same story.. slow and steady but pretty predictable.. If I do this asking every day I tend to lose around 1 pound each week.. BUT.. and this is a BIG BUT.. my diet sucks… I mean it’s not the worst, and has gotten better this last 12 months but I do need to do more.. and that time is slowly coming.. I can feel that the idea is coming closer, but it’ll be when everything aligns in my mind..
So sometimes I may not lose a pound.. sometimes the weight loss doesn’t happen, if Ive eaten poor that week.. and there’s been the odd time when Ive maybe put weight on (like at Christmas when I gained 1 pound).
I know for a fact that I can lose much much more if I massively increased exercise. I lost 70 pounds 13 years ago in just 3 months, losing around 7 pounds a week.. and that did feel amazing, but after those 3 months I stopped going to the gym, and the weight slowly regained..
But thankfully walking is easy, and I’m losing weight, and Im sticking to walking so I know I will reach the same goal… however I may look at a weight training/fitness regime in the future.
This website update
In all. honestly this is the least interesting update in terms of anything happening.. I am creating content several times each week for the site.. so in terms of content it is growing… Im not massively focused on a single category, so these general posts are going under ‘blog’ for now… In time I will outline and create content that fits into all areas of self improvement.
My Youtube channel
Im saving the best update till last.. so the Youtube channel is the one thing I am so excited to be watching (multiple times a day) and thinking about, and trying to grow..
It is growing.
Almost every day I am creating or editing a new video or short, and Im aligned manly now with the topic of walking for health, growing personally, and creating better habits..
As a result YouTube is finding the right people to view the content, and this is leading to healthy numbers in all areas.. new subscribers, views, likes etc.
Ive even been doing live streams every single day for over a week, and that is responsible for a good number of new subscribers each day. As I’m focused on hitting monetization requirements, it feels good to see the subscriber count as I edge towards the magical 1000 subscriber mark, and 4000 watch hours.. It is coming without a doubt. You just have to have faith.
Later today I have a video coming out which recaps on the first 30 days of walking every day and how it has changed my life. I will put that video below.. Feel free to click where it says YouTube to watch it on Youtube, and give us a subscribe.
